Coinstar Lead Accounts Payable Coordinator in Bellevue, Washington

Position Overview

The Lead AP Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely processing and payment of accounts payable (AP) for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter AP invoices through a variety of processes in the appropriate company

  • Process payments and work to resolve issues, for vendors in the US and other countries

  • Work with various departments to resolve procedural issues

  • Work with other departments in streamlining current procedures and developing new procedures

  • Creates documentation and provides training for internal customers

  • Assist with month-end close, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations for various companies in the established timeframe

  • Transmit or receive information from the banking systems

  • Work with the General Ledger (GL) group to research items and set up expense tracking processes

  • Various other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High School Degree or GED required, Bachelors in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

• 5 years’ experience in AP in a fast paced, high volume work environment required.

• Experience supporting AP for multiple companies, including international.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong PC skills with a good understanding of Accounting Information Systems including but not limited to AP and GL

  • Operational understanding of 1099’s and unclaimed property

  • Familiarity with international billing practices

  • The ability to process large quantities for various companies of data quickly and accurately with a high degree of flexibility and customer service attitude

  • The ability to escalate billing problems/concerns to ensure adequate and timely resolution

  • Basic knowledge of OpenText and SAP

  • Intermediate MS Office experience, especially with Excel

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
