Coinstar VP Product Management in Bellevue, Washington

The Vice President of Product Management is the product developer, lifecycle owner, and champion for all Coinstar products worldwide. This position is a product expert and is responsible for executing upon the strategic vision and roadmap for all Coinstar products. This leader is accountable for profitable revenue growth for all core and new products. The Vice President of Produt Management position is based in Bellevue, WA, is a member of the Coinstar Executive Committee, and reports directly to the CEO.
Strategy, financial and metric oversight
Develop a multi-year product strategy in conjunction with the Coinstar Executive Committee.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics for the product division.
Create a structure and process that facilitates a successful lean “test and learn” phase, followed by a successful “on-boarding” phase for new products.
Build an incredible product team through candidate selection, leadership, and mentoring.
Lead, define, represent and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
Partner closely with technology and marketing teams to ensure alignment and support for new products.

Product growth and management
Product lifecycle management from concept to launch across all product/product lines.
Define pricing and competitive positioning for all products.
Create and oversee the overall product management process that defines the product strategy, roadmap, and priorities and associated back-end systems.
Analyze product performance and make the appropriate adjustments and pivots.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in commercial, industrial, or product design; architecture; or engineering.
10 + years of business strategy development and product management experience including annual operating plans and 5-year strategic plans, in particular managing software and hardware development cycles.
5+ years’ of successfully leading product teams and working closely with technical development teams.
Experience in managing a new product innovation process involving cross functional teams.
Experience in translating business needs into product features, balancing business needs and technical limitations while being a user advocate.
- This position requires 25% business domestic travel.
Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
